Images not showing

I have just noticed the same problem on a site where I’ve implemented this plugin. Strangely, one image is showing but the others are not. I know the plugin pulls images from Instagram and stores them in WP’s uploads folder… I wonder what has changed to break this? https://www.thehiphopchipshop.com/tha-blogg/

but why is it storing the images in the wp uploads folder instead of just showing them from the source?

I imagine it’s to reduce the number of HTTP requests for the sake of performance, which is sound logic. I wonder if Instagram have recently made a change that won’t permit external sites from grabbing images…

*I’ve just hidden the implementation on that site with CSS for now by the way, so you won’t see it there unless you use dev tools to reveal it.

I just tested and the json code that holds last 20 pics is available for public accounts so nothing changed. Usually this is a theme problem! I am working on the next update so bare with me ??

Can you both put the plugin back your site so I can check whats wrong!

Hi thanks for getting back to us! I’d rather not have the slider on display until it’s fixed, it’s just hidden with CSS but it’s still there on line 604 at https://www.thehiphopchipshop.com/ – it’s hidden on line 16 of the child theme’s style.css file. Let me know if this is okay – thanks!

@phillsb cheked you site and you this must be some hosting related problem, if I had the error logs your wordpress created I could propably tell whats wrong.
A friend is using the exact same theme as you and the same plugin and it works fine on her blog -> https://fishnetsandrainbows.com/

@instadesign all the images are deleted! Only the slider is there with broken links to those deleted images. Re download them or try changing the account just for testing

Hi @jetnor thanks for looking at it, I’m still quite confused though, I’ve never had to manually download the images up until now, and I haven’t deleted anything – it always just worked!

Please update the plugin and will check your websites again after you do!

and all 20 images are showing just fine.
