  • Hi pps888,

Images are not included automatically in posts, you have to include them manually like regular media, or use the [movie_images] shortcode introduced in version 1.1! See the update version 1.1.2 for better results.

where is this shortcode? i can’t find it

    Doc is here: https://wpmovielibrary.com/documentation/shortcodes/movie_images/

To show all images related to a movie, simply put [movie_images] in your post. That will add a gallery showing all the images imported for the current movies. You can specify which size the images should be: [movie_images size="medium"] or limit the number of images: [movie_images count="4"].

    thanks! worked

but i have another problem. featured image is not showing inside post.
i tested it in another theme and it worked. is it a theme problem or maybe is it one of my active plugins that causes the problem?

i noticed that i can put [movie_poster]but in the other theme i tested it was not necessary to put this shotcode

If featured images work with theme A and not with theme B then it is most likely an issue with theme B. What theme are you using that doesn’t show posts thumbnails? I’ll test the plugin with it to be sure.

theme ming. if i put [movie_poster] it works. can the image poster be at the top of the post? before movie’s info?

No, the movie’s info are added to the post’s content before it is displayed; shortcodes are intended to enhance posts content, they cannot really palliate to themes deficiencies…

But in that case you’re better off adding the featured images support to your theme, see this modified version of Ming’s single.php: https://gist.github.com/Askelon/e484454725c40017effd
