Images not responsive

  • Hi:

    I understand that images are supposed to be responsive in WordPress 4.4 and higher. However, mine aren’t.

    My site is https://www.hablandodetecnologia.com. Most of my images are 200px wide and they take up most of my screen on my iPhone 5. They do not resize. What am I missing here?

    Catch Responsive Pro. However, I have around 10 WordPress sites, with different responsive themes, and they all have the same problem.

    Since that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    I seem to have stumbled onto a major flaw in WordPress; one that affects all my sites. It seems that large images resize but small ones don’t.

    This certainly has nothing to do with the theme. How do I know? Because if I switch to the thwenty-sixteen theme the situation prevails.

    Furthermore, this site (https://www.picadilloblog.com/) has a free theme (Parabola) and it has the same problem.

    I’ve contacted the people at Catch Themes and the only solution that they have offered is to add CSS on a per image basis to resize the images on smartphones. But that seems like a dumb approach to me. If everything else resizes proportionally the smaller images should too.
