Images not optimizing automatically (upload)

    I installed the plugin and checked the option to optimize the images when uploading them on the blog. I uploaded an original image with 1MB and when finish the image was still with 1MB. Would not the plugin automatically reduce? What did I do wrong?

    Thank you for using Smush. If the image is 1MB it may be too large to large for Smush free to optimize. Smush will optimize images up to 1MB. Larger images require Smush Pro. You can look at the image in the library to see if Smush reduced the image size. I hope that helps!
