I’ve been using the image accelerator from jetpack for years and never had any issues until very recently where images on several sites are just not loading.

When you attempt to load the image in a new tab you get the error:

“We cannot complete this request, remote server returned an unexpected status code (400)”

Or something similar.

It seems to only be happening on some sites, and in some cases it will only be some images, not all of them.

Disabling the “Speed up image load times” setting fixes the problem.

Is there a problem with the servers?

I think there are server issues regarding Europe, but I haven’t read any statements from team members yet
