images not loading on mobiles(cell phones) via 3G

  • Hello, my wordpress site is; https://www.vividsource.co.uk

    On the homepage of my site some images (usually just the latest post thumbnail images) won’t load at all on mobile devices. It can sometimes happen with a bad Internet connection, i’ve tested on different devices and I have the same problem. It isn’t consistent either, sometimes they load without a problem but more often than not a couple images won’t load. the image size doesnt seem to effect it either as some of the thumbnails are only kbs big. haven’t no idea what the reason is and would appreciate any insight into the issue.

  • Hey Peter,

    It can be related with some plugin issue or maybe some rule was added to your .htaccess file.

    Did you already checked if you have malware or if something has changed your core files?

    Thank you for your reply. I just ran the recommend scan utility and my website appears to be virus free. I’m not sure about htaccess and I’ve certainly not touches the file personally. The pluf ins I run are as follows :

    • advanced excerpt
    • grunion contact from
    • mail subscribe list
    • w3 total cache (installed to try and fix the problem)

    Are any of these plug ins known to be buggy or cause problems?
