Images not loading in chrome until page is refreshed

  • Hi folks,

    I hope this isnt a double post but Im having issues with chrome not loading site images on first try.

    Im using the following plugins that might have an effect:

    w3tc – connected to cloudflare
    autoptimise
    above-the-fold-optimisation

    theme: vocal4.5
    Wordpress 4.5.2

    It doesnt seem to be an issue with IE?

    I looked at the chrome console and network console in dev tools and I couldnt see the files mentioned when it was trying to load the site…???

    When I run a refresh the images appear but when i run a hard refresh or clear the cache they dont appear???

    Any pointers as to it being a code/cache issue?
