Images Not Loading from i2.wp.com

I’ve noticed on a number of WordPress sites that images are not loading. On checking, these are all images hosted on i2.wp.com (which it appears images are being hosted on by default, if you don’t check into it).

On this page: https://stargazersworld.com/2019/03/25/kickstarter-rpg-smith/ the image at https://i0.wp.com/stargazersworld.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/2019-03-25-08.15.33-www.kickstarter.com-1067a94b2cee.png?resize=672%2C372&ssl=1 is not loading.

This is only a tiny fraction of the pages with problems.
downforeveryoneorjustme.com is also reporting the images as down.
