Images not loading for products from woocommerce

If I understand correctly, you have synced your product to Facebook and only images are not synced, right?

Do you already have featured images set for these products?

I will recommend enabling debug mode in wp-admin > Marketing > Facebook page and then look for Facebook logs under WooComemrce > Status > Logs page. Share the latest logs with us so that we can investigate further.

Also, it will be great if you could share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

This error usually appears if you are not the owner of the Business Manager and Facebook page, which is required to connect the Facebook for WooCommerce extension to Facebook.

Can you please confirm if you are both the owner and admin of the assets you are trying to connect to?

I have the log in credentials for their accounts.

Thanks for the information. I can see that you’re using a plugin for optimizing images on your website which is Smush. I can’t tell if it is causing this issue or the issue is being caused by a conflict with your theme or any other plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Hi @nagdy

I went ahead and deactivated all plugins except woocommerce and facebook integration plugin and temporarily switched theme to storefront. Deleted and re-imported the catalog through woocommerce and did a new connection and am still not getting the images over.

I'm sorry to hear about the images which are not being synced over from your WooCommerce store to Facebook, even after disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce on your site, switching to a default Storefront theme, and deleting/re-syncing the whole catalog!

Looking at the forum thread, I see that you've noticed a Unable to detect valid feed configuration: No catalog ID error in the logs but you've connected the site to Facebook using the Facebook login credentials of the owner of the Business Manager and Facebook page.

Looking at the product pages, I see this odd section in the image URL that is not present on my test site:

I'm wondering if that part was also there during a conflict test? If yes, perhaps your host is using the Shortpixel image optimization/compression service? I see how it could interfere with the image sync.

As a first step, can you please disable the shortpixel image compression so that image URLs look like this:

And not like this:
