Images not loading after 5.3 Update

  • My photos won’t load or won’t load all the way on mobile and tablet, but they do load on my laptop. Some images load perfectly and some don’t load at all/are very pixelated. Before the 5.3 update, they used to all load perfectly. What’s going on here and how can I fix it?

    Update:

    I reverted the WordPress back to 5.2.4 using the WP Downgrade plug-in and it fixed the problem for now.

    the same problem happened here I don’t know what exactly happened, after I upgrade my wordpress the logo not showing and some of featured images not viewing too

    I can’t get the image size for the images I uploaded. anger! ! !

    I have the same problem with an upgrade to 5.3. All images are disappeared.

    DON’T UPGRADE TO 5.3!! IT CAN’T HANDLE IMAGES ON MOBILE!!

    My products photos don’t load fully, . Some images load perfectly and most just don’t load. How can I fix this issue?
    I’m hearing here it has to do with the 5.3 update, have anybody managed to solve this and how? Need help urgently.

    Hey guys, had this same problem and after going crazy found out that my .htaccess file had one line inserted by SiteGround’s SG Optizer:

    # START PHP VERSION CHANGE forced by SG Optimizer
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-recommended-php .php .php5 .php4 .php3
    # END PHP VERSION CHANGE

    This would break only some images on mobile. After renaming mi .htaccess to .htaccess.bak (for letting wordpress create a new one automatically) the file regenerated without that line and the issue was fixed.

    Please try this and let me know if it worked for you!
