Images not loading

    I am unable to get facebook images to load via the ik_fb_gallery shortcode.

    With [ik_fb_gallery id="628409793897570"], it either does not load at all, or gives the error code: ik fb: Unable to load photos

    With [ik_fb_feed id="255856407819579" use_thumb="1" hide_feed_images="0" show_like_button="0" show_profile_picture="0" show_page_title="0" show_posted_by="0" show_date="0" use_human_timing="0"], I am able to load the text feed, but also with no images at all.

    I have unchecked the hide images options, and my plugin status shows that everything is working properly. I used an app id and secret key from my personal account, and am working on a page where I am an administrator.

    May I check if the images loaded via the gallery shortcode must come only from your own page album, or can come from any page’s album? I would like to also load photos from a client’s facebook page. Please do correct me if my understanding is wrong.

    I just installed the plugin and had the same problem. Another plugin (Easy facebook feed – timwass) did show the images, but I did not like their styling. So yours seemed to be the one.

    I am also experiencing the same issues as everyone here. your answers of:

    1) App ID and Secret Key setup incomplete (still in sandbox mode or the process just not finished),
    2) App ID and Secret Key being rate-limited (shouldn’t happen for a first-time user)
    3) Facebook Graph API being slow to respond (images generate additional requests, which can mean a lot of requests, and sometimes Facebook or your Webhost will time out)

    are great, but How do we verify that any of those things are happening/ how do we fix them? for example sandbox mode. I made my app “available to the general public” which i believe is the same thing but that doesn’t seem to do anything. As far as the other things I have no idea how to even go about fixing them… please provide more detail!

    NB:
    The moment the issues above has been solved, I think the plugin is a fine thing. In the meantime I switched back to Easy facebook feed. At first the plugin messed up my styling, but immediately after a reply to the developer timwass, the problem was solved. Excellent service. See: https://www.theaterleeuwenhart.nl

    I tried Easy Facebook Feed and no matter what I did it would not work, so I decided to install IK Facebook Plugin. I followed the directions and the good news is that my feed does show up in a sidebar widget! The bad news is that like others in this forum, no images show up, which is disappointing.
