Images not loading

Hi I am having trouble with a wordpress site. It seems very odd to me. I can not upload images. Or show them. In the backend if i click select files nothing happens. Or if i want to see the images already uploaded and click show in the media area, nothing happens. What i find really odd is that another site I have with the same host works fine on the same computer. The admin permissions are the same 755, and it is the latest version of wp.So I am confused…I sure appreciate any help.
