    Hi,

    I’m not sure if this is a Smush issue or what the problem is – Would appreciate your help.

    I’ve over-hauled a page (listed in URL above) that is my repository for all my blog posts. The problem is that most of the images don’t appear anymore.

    Everything is fine in “preview” mode within the editor, however when my site is viewed normally, most of the images don’t appear. When I scroll down in the page and ‘re-load’ the page, some images that were there disappear, but ones that weren’t there appear!

    The only change that I made to the page that appears to have caused the problem, was to format everything into ‘columns’. I had a difficult time managing the page before making this change.

    Notes:
    – I just added this page to the ‘do not lazy load’ list in Smush… No change…
    – I also have Jetpack installed. The ‘Site Accelerator’ (Image Load Times) is enabled, however ‘Enable Lazy Loading’ is NOT enabled…
    – The problem presents itself on both desktops and mobiles.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Please advise / Thanks,

    Mark

  • Hi @freem33,

    Seems that there are some issues with your theme or maybe a plugin. The images that are not displayed have a width and height set to 1px.

    width="1" height="1"

    I can’t say exactly why this is happening. I would recommend you disable all image optimization plugins (including Jetpack) and see if that fixes the issue. Then enable them one by one to see which one is causing the issue.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    Hi Anton,

    I disabled Jetpack’s ‘Site Accelerator’ completely and the page looks OK.

    What do you now see as the width / height?

    @freem33,

    Now there is no predefined width/height on the img element, just as how it should be.

    Best regards,
    Anton

    OK, Thanks for the help!
    FYI – My Theme Support folks state that there’s still ‘something wrong with Lazy Loading’, but the pages seems ok now.
