Images not inserting into pages

    I am unable to insert images into the page, they upload and you can see them in the media library but they just won’t insert into the page. The page I am working on is “latest news” which permalink shows it as being https://www.broomecircle.org.au/latest-news-2/, indicating that there is another latest news elsewhere which there isn’t. There is also 2 mentions of Welcome to Broome CIRCLE in the pages admin and if you delete one, it deletes both.

    I have been reading some other posts that have had image problems and something I came across was deleting images via ftp rather than through media library. Would this be causing me issues?

    Ok from reading other posts I tried uploading a fresh install of wp-includes and wp admin which didnt help. Then started with de-activating the plug-ins and CK Editor was the culprit. Images insert no problem now
