    Hello,
I cannot get the images in my gallery to index with google. I have worked with Yoast support which is my SEO plugin and here is the response:

“Thanks for the email! While Google is expected to index your images even if they do not appear on the sitemap, we do see your gallery page here: https://ridestoke.com/page-sitemap.xml does not show a count of images. Lastly, we see on https://ridestoke.com/gallery/ that none of the images shown are appearing in the source code. As Google scans the source code in order to index content, it may explain why those gallery images are failing to appear in Google while other images do. This may be an issue with the specific gallery plugin you are using. We are not sure.”

I do recall that the images have never indexed with google since I started using WP Dev Art. Is there a setting I need to turn on or some trick to get images to index with Google when using WP Dev Art gallery? Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    wpdevart,

Any update? The interesting part is those images do not appear in the sitemap at https://ridestoke.com/page-sitemap.xml as well as having no images in the source code for the gallery.

    Thanks

    Hi dear user.

    Sorry for the late response.

Our developers still thinking about it. Our plugin display gallery with JS on front end, that’s why there isn’t any image url. It is not so easy to do this customization, but we will try to find solution and then let you know about results.

    Thanks.

    Hi dear user.

Our developers said that they can’t edit the whole JS code and create new code for gallery, but they said that they can insert image urls in gallery page source code, so the search engines will index gallery images.

We added the customized version on this page – https://pollsdemo.wpdevart.com/test-gallery-seo/.

Check it and if it is normal to you, we can send this version.

    Thanks.

    Hi dear user.

Our developers created new version and have made some changes in this case. Update it and then check if everything is fine with Image indexing in Google.

    Thanks.

I updated the plugin and it still do not see the images in the source code. Is there an additional setting that needs to be turned on for this to work now?

    Hi dear user.

    Sorry for the late response.

There isn’t option for this. Can you clear your website and browser caches and check it again?

    Thanks.

Sorry I tried from several computers and the cache cleared on server and browswer. It still does not show the source code of the gallery plugin with the images.

    Hello,
Any update? Is does show the source code for the cover images of each gallery but does not show source code for each image in the gallery. Also Yoast does not detect any images for the gallery page so I checked with Yoast support. They said that the plugin developer must use the proper hooks so Yoast can add the images to the sitemap.

What could I be missing here with your plugin?

    Thanks

    Hi dear user.

The only solution at this moment is the current version. Check this screenshot and you will see the image page urls – https://wpdevart.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/2019-02-11.png

    Thanks.

    Hi dear user.

This customization with effect on new loaded images or you can re-crope images and it should work as well(Got WordPress admin pane > Wpdevart Gallery > Crope and change image cropping sizes).

    Thanks.

I installed the current version, I have the same problem. For me, this is not acceptable, I need indexing by search engines. What to do?
