Images not getting uploaded, to subdomain or anywhere

    Solved problem:

    For anyone having this problem, plugin settings field 1 says:

    Default is “wp-content/uploads”

    Try using “/” before and after path, “/wp-content/uploads/”.

    That solved problem for me.

    And full server path to user webspace account + folder were required for me. (Search your host help files for “webspace path for scripts”, if you don’t understand.)

    Using subdomain, set fields 1 and 2 according to directions in plugin settings.

    Uploading media shows broken thumbnail. Checking uploads folder, no images are present.

    Tried relocating uploads folder from subdomain to blog domain, and then move uploads folder into WP installation folder. Still no images uploaded. Checked default wp-content/uploads/year/month/ and no images present either.

    Confirmed uploads folder Chmod 755. Confirmed upload path values set in wp_options.

    Of course. I appreciate the plugin and good support!

    Also- people should be aware when they are trying different paths in Field 1, and it seems like they’re getting no response,…

    Search the hosting account or webspace for any new folders created using the names defined in Field 1. I found the plugin was creating directories and uploading images for whatever path I placed in Field 1. The directories created and images uploaded were just in unexpected locations, rather than the location I expected WP to access.

    Takes a few attempts to understand how the plugin is operating within your host webspace. Files and directories may be created during those attempts.
