Images not fully uploading

I am having issues uploading images to my blog in the media upload. When I finish uploading no error message appears but there is a broken file image. then when I go to the blog post the tumb-nail works but when you go to the specific blog address the image doesn’t work. I know there is an issue in the image URL but how do I go about fixing it?
