Great plugin, but for some reason it’s not working with thumbnails?

For example, image-1.jpg works, but image1-400×400.jpg is producing image not found error.

The biggest problem is that disabling the plugin did not fix the error. Images are still pointing to webp, even though the plugin has been disabled.

Now I have many missing images on my site.

    Thanks

    Hi @eastonweb,

    Thank you for your message.

Tell me please, does your server use cache for redirections from the .htaccess file?

    Hi,

It doesn’t use, as far as I know.

But why disabling/deleting the plugin doesn’t revert to my old images?

I can’t even get my logo to work.

    Thanks

Please read the FAQ and find out how it works. When you turn it off, it does nothing. Why do you still have redirects to WebP? Because your server uses cache for redirections. I see you are using mod_pagespeed, so it’s a form of cache.

Thanks for explaining. I have flushed the mod_pagespeed cache and jpg images are back.

I assume this tool has caused problems for you. The plugin cannot work properly when using the cache for redirections.
