images not downloading

I have used the free version of the plugin to import roughly 1000 products into my woocommerce shop, the plugin has imported all the products correctly which im very happy about however it refuses to download a large amount of images.
It downloaded around 2000 of the images just fine, but there is around 800 left that it refuses to download, when i go into the failed images area and click the download button it spins for a couple of seconds then does nothing, i have tried disabling all other plugins and the theme and trying again but the same thing happens, i have tried “disable background processing” both on and off and it doesn’t make a difference, all the images that wont download appear to be webp files if that makes a difference.
