    Hey @valwa!

Matthias here, developer of Real Physical Media ??

We already debugged the behavior and it seems this is only related to the mfrh_move API when changing the folder name.

    Hi @jazzamitch87,

I am not sure what the problem is, I don’t see it explained above nor in any links. However, do you know you can use the move feature directly in Media File Renamer? Have you tried it? Because if it works when used directly, it should also work in Real Physical Media. It it doesn’t work, do you have anything in your PHP Error Logs? And by not working, what do you also mean exactly?

Hi @tigroumeow, Thankyou for your reply

We used the devowl plugins along with real media file renamer to organise our media files into a realistic file structure instead of all being dumped into the uploads folder.
We had over 80,000 media files processed took roughly a week to get through unfortunately some of the files that were moved are now not displaying correctly as shown in the 2022 Elite category. I can’t export the categories to check the url for the images attached to them but I have exported the products and they show the new url for the correct image but not displaying correctly on the website.
In the support ticket (URL Above) to Devowl there is the relevant PHP errors and and tests we have tried that Matthias from devowl determined the error was coming from your end.
I also tried to rename a image 2 days ago and when renamed it did the same thing and no longer displayed correctly on the website. I had to delete the image and reupload it to get it to work this file was not affected originally when moved it was just named incorrectly originally.

    Cheers

    Hi @jazzamitch87,

Please note that you are using the free version of Media File Renamer, so remember, we focus on replying to our customers first. We take care of the forums a bit later, but we always do ??

I have checked the error you mentioned in the PHP Error Logs, but it’s a warning. It will be fixed in the next release, but I doubt it’s the issue.

To make sure we can focus on the actual issue, I would like you to try to replicate the issue you are having. Enable the Move feature in the settings of Media File Renamer. Then, visit the Media File Renamer Dashboard, and move some images. Does it work? It doesn’t? Please tell us what you do exactly, and in case some images work and other don’t, try to understand what’s the differences between them; more specifically, how/where they are used on your website.

If we can replicate the issue, we can fix it ??

We are now manually fixing this and cleaning up old images in general.
Unfortunately we don’t know how to replicate it or what caused it, It happened during the bulk processing & seems to be random as to what it is affecting. Different upload dates, different product categories over 30,000 products.

If the issue appears to happen randomly, with no errors in your PHP logs and no reliable way to replicate it, it’s probably not directly related to the plugin, and unfortunately, it won’t be something we can fix on our side. If you find a consistent way to replicate the issue, please let us know. In the meantime, we will close this thread. Thanks for your understanding.
