• I went through your recommendations including deactivating plugins.

I did get “Warning The optional module, imagick, is not installed, or has been disabled.”

and have asked the admin to enable.

    Am I missing anything?

  • Imagick is your server-side module which is important for generating images. Your hosting support (which you probably mean by admin) needs to install it. Only then the error message goes away.

Activated Imagic, a few more images are now appearing, but not consistently.

    Slider for example is blank…

Please take a look, what do you think?

And Imagic was not activated when all images worked fine till about 6 weeks ago.

The posts at the top of the home page don’t have an image to display at all. They are assigned a gray background image. You can also see that they don’t have one when you go to their details page: if you see an article with a picture on the home page, it will be displayed in large size on the details page. The articles with the gray background image do not have such an output on the details page.

So have a look if you have assigned feature images to all images.
