    Hi All

New to WordPress and loved it until I tried to upload images in posts. The process seems to work OK but then all images fail to display.

Images are uploaded to server and name, title etc can all be defined and seen. Images are not linked and if I link image position to original image I get:

Forbidden You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/uploads/2009/02/bestmug.jpg on this server.

    Any suggestions?

    Martyn

    Hi,

Please check the permissions to the wo-contents folder and grant it to 755 permissions recursively. It will resolve the case.

    Hello Shane

I’m really sorry, but I’m not very experienced. Would you mind taking me through that in a more fundamental hand-holding way, please?

    Sorry to be a pain.

I need to be more self-sufficient, I think.

OK, Shane gave me valuable information that I was able to further research and then act on. Thanks Shane.

All the permissions on my server have been set according to Shane’s advice, but unfortunately, the images still don’t show.

    Any other ideas?

Could this problem be anything to do with me forgetting to add Authentication Unique Keys to the “config” file at installation?
