Images not appearing in Safari (Mobile or Desktop) but are fine in Crome

    Hello,

    First website and not officially launched yet. Still loads to do like branding etc but seems to be two steps forward and one step back. Images were all fine and now some won’t appear in Safari on mobile or desktop.

    Its driving me crazy – I can’t figure out what’s the issue. I have tried isolating each plugin but doesn’t seem to have any positive results. All images in chrome appear fine!

    Yes and update would be good please.

    Images don’t load on Safari for my site too.

    I’m on basic SiteGround plan, so on Cloudflare I could not disable webp (it’s a premium feature), only on SiteOptimizer from SiteGround, which I did, but the same problem occurs.
    Any advice what I can do to make images load on Safari?

    Clients having the same issue. Was this implemented?

    any update on this? FYI this is beyond Cloudflare. To me it appears like a Siteground issue itself. I removed SG Optimizer, changed CDN providers to Stackpath and as soon as I switched my A record over to Stackpath’s IP it started doing the same thing.

    Worth noting that if you use the subdomain approach to serve CDN assets it works just fine..

    There is nothing to implement on our side. If you want to use webp properly disable static caching on your cdn or the cdn all together. Once Safari 14 is out webp will be rendered on all manor browsers but meanwhile there isn’t much we can do about this case.
