Images not appearing after upload

    I have a photography group website which is membership based (Paid membership Pro).
    They have to register before that can have access to the content and the photo contest is one of those content elements they will have access to.

    Question:
    Do they need to register for the content before they can enter the contest?

    I just added a gallery and added a test image without registering and it said the upload was successful
    But the image did not appear in the image gallery that I added above the form.

    Question:
    What happens when I upload an image?
    Do I as the admin get notified?
    Do I need to approve these images?
    Where can I see these images in the admin?
