Images missing and special characters distorted

Hi there, I love the idea of the plugin but I can’t get it to work correctly on my German blog. The pictures in the posts are correctly displayed in the preview window but are then missing on my Kindle. All special German characters (like ?, ?, ü, ?) are completely distorted on the Kindle (again, everything looks still ok in the preview). Had to hide the button again. Please advise how to cope with these problems. Thank you!
