Images look 'soft' in preview and online but fine in dashboard

  • This is new, as I post images often on my blog. I’m using ‘Linen’ theme.
    My ‘landscape’ oriented images look out of focus in preview. Not in the dashboard, they look totally fine there. The ‘portrait’ oriented images look fine in both preview and dashboard.
    I have tried resizing within wordpress.
    I have tried several image sizing fixes when exporting from my post production program but nothing seems to work.
    I have posted it, reviewed it and it still looks soft.
    Suggestions??
    P.S. I don’t know my version number, again something I used to be able to find, but can’t seem to find it.

  • I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?
