    Hi Team,

Thank you for creating this plugin.

1). I have encountered the following issue: images in image answers load incorrectly, overlapping with their containers. I made a test quiz with one question on this page. You can see the images loading incorrectly. However, as you start scrolling (on mobile) or resizing a window (on desktop), the images “jump” into the right place and no longer have this issue until the page is reloaded. Then everything repeats.

Please see the screen demo. You will see the issue but also what happens once the window is resized at the end.

    How can this be fixed?

2). If the “Lazy load images” feature of the plugin is ON, the images do not load at all. In the example above this feature is OFF, but please let me know if you’ve encountered this before and if there is a fix for it?

Thank you for looking into these,
    Vladi

    Hi

It seems this is a problem with 3rd party plugin which “optimize” images. It replaces all tags with <picture> analog and it breaks image handling by “ARI Stream Quiz”. Try to disable this plugin for quizzes or try to disable “Prefect quizzes” option on “ARI Stream Quiz -> Settings -> Advanced” page.

Hi arisoft and thank you for your reply.

    1)

The plugin in conflict is Rocket Lazy Load. When deactivated, it allows Ari to load images correctly. The issue is the Rocket Lazy Load plugin allows to lazyload images and videos across the website globally, so it cannot be deactivated. I’ve looked for the “Prefect quizzes” option in Advanced Settings but it is not there. The only ones I have are “Clean uninstall”, “Disable script optimization”,
“Load Facebook SDK”, “Add meta tags” and “Images lazy loading”. I’ve tried with “Disable script optimization” option on and off, and it does not make a difference. Is there any other way to exclude Ari script from being affected by another plugin?

    2)

I’ve deactivated Rocket Lazy Load and activated “Images lazy loading” in Ari settings but the images do not appear in this case at all. I’ve left the website with Rocket Lazy Load off for you to take a look – maybe it will help to find the issue.

    Thank you,
    V

According to “Rocket Lazy Load” plugin documentation, it is possible to disable the plugin for particular images:

    How to disable images

Please update “ARI Stream Quiz” to v. 1.2.24 and populate “Excluded images or iframes” parameter in “Rocket Lazy Load” plugin with the following code:

    asq-image

Thank you for the link. I had their extension plugin (not the main one) but I’ve successfully implemented the exclusion. The codes they are giving works on another plugin as well. So the 1st issue is gone – the images in answers load properly with the Rocket Lazy Load plugin on AND with Ari’s lazy loading feature off.

Now the only issue I’ve got left is the “Images lazy loading” option of the Ari plugin. Whenever I turn it on, the images do not load whatsoever. As soon as I deactivate it, the images load just fine. The setup I’ve got live now is a good demo.

Any idea why that would happen?

    Thank you,
    V

Sorry for the delay. Is it possible to see the problem with lazy loaded images? It seems the quiz doesn’t contain images on “butter-sponge-cake” page.

@arisoft Thank you for getting back to me.

I went ahead and re-added the four images to the first question (centuries) and also enabled the lazy-loading feature of the ari plugin now.
