Images Issue

    Hi,

    I am experiencing an issue that in case I upload an image to WP after resizing/cropping and it appears unsuitable for display on a post, I delete it from WP and then reload it again after further modifying it. But surprisingly it appears the same as it was before.

    What can be the reason?

    Please help.

  • This is most likely a cache issue: some caching plugin or external CDN (JetPack? CloudFlare?) is serving the old image it has stored.

    You can test to see if this is the case by giving the edited file a new name: the new file (with a new name) should appear instantly.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, I had it working after renaming the image file.

    About the cache issue, I will check it later on.
