• I’m new to WordPress and trying to get up to speed with embedding (enabling) the images in my posts to be visible in our rss feed. The image shows up in the posts on the website, but does not show in the rss feed. The title and description tags are working, but I cannot figure out how to enable the image tag.

    I apologize for my lack of technical knowledge, I’m just really scrambling here I’m not having any luck so far. Thank you for any assistance.

    Navigate to Settings -> Reading and ensure that you have your RSS feed set to Full and not Summary.

    Ok, I just checked and the RSS feed is set to Full. What about Default Post Format in Writing Settings? Thanks for the assistance.

    I’ve just checked the source code of your RSS feed and your images are there. Whether your chosen feed reader is displaying theme is another matter and quite beyond WordPress’ control.

    Wouldn’t it be showing up as an <image> tag in the source code? I’m looking at it and I’m not seeing one?

    I’m trying to configure a digital signage system to pull in this feed and it’s getting the title and description just fine, but no image.

    Yes. and it does. One example from your feed is:

    <img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-473" alt="Donald-CTS-I-Cert" src="https://www.nor-com.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Donald-CTS-I-Cert-300x279.jpg" width="300" height="279" />

    Do I need to install this?

    No. Your images are in your feed. As I said, not all RSS readers show images and that’s outside of WordPress’ control.
