• As I understand it, images are loaded to the wp-content/upload directory and further stores by year and month – wp-contnet/upload/{year}/{month}

    I’ve installed YAPB and it seems to be working OK. Because I’m a photographer I wanted to load some of my older images. I created a 2009 folder and a month folder for a set of images. I FTP them up to the folder. When I go to the media library, I can’t see any of the images, including the one I uploaded via YAPB. Is this a bug or have I completely missing something?

    Regards,
    John Newton

    You have to add things via the Media Uploader in WordPress. You can’t just FTP them up and have them added with the basic Media setup.

    IIRC things like NextGen gallery do that.
