Images in Text widget not displaying

  • I’m trying to display a group of images as a block in my sidebar. I found a plugin that inserts one but not multiple. So I created this section in DreamWeaver, uploaded the images and pasted the codes in the Text widget that comes as a default on WordPress. It’s a pretty simple stuff with three images and a href tag for each.

    It works perfectly on my front page, but not the rest. Now, I have separate sidebars set up; one for my content pages and another for my blog posts page. I added the same Text widget with the same codes in both sidebars, but the front page is the only one it’s working. I don’t know if this is theme related, or my codes, or something else. Any ideas??

  • Most likely the path to the images is incorrect. How did you post the pictures? Relative or absolute links?

    Thanks Lisa. I had to look up what relative and absolute links mean, but I think I did it relative, as I did not insert the entire specific path. Should I be doing it absolute? The odd thing though is that it’s working on my front page.

    Also, if there’s a plugin that lets me do what I’m trying to do, please let me know. I don’t mind editing in DreamWeaver, but I’d rather keep just one place to do all editing if I can.
