Images in some pages won’t appear

  • Hi, I’m using Worpress 2.8.6. and I just found some issue regarding display images. the problem is as below.

    – Images are properly displayed with default theme in all aspects.
    – In some theme, some older images are properly appeared except when they are access through the links(such as ‘category’ or ‘archives’).
    – Even though images aren’t appeared, but click to open individual post,then images are appeared normal.
    – It was just fine, but all the sudden, some older images are not shown, I tried several themes, some themes are affected, and the other aren’t. I think this is not problem of specific theme.
    – I tried automatic re-install which can be access via admin panel.
    – I’ve checked all of posts and attachments are correctly linked.

  • Even though images aren’t appeared, but click to open individual post,then images are appeared normal.

    Some themes use the_excerpt() in certain templates which removes all markup/formatting and images whilst others use the_content() which displays images.
