• Just updated my Fukasawa version to the latest 1.04, and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced their images moving outside the page width in their pages? All of mine are now outside the page width. Is it an incompability with the WP version I am using or is it something else? It wasn’t happening before the update. Thanks.

Just an update. I upgraded to the latest 4.3 WordPress version, deactivated all of the plugins, and still the images extend beyond the page. Not sure why this is happening. Anyone else experience the same?

    Hi australis41
yes, I have the same problem with the images being wider than the page.
But in my case the problem only occurs in mobile view and when the image has a caption. Images without captions work without problems.
    Thanks

Thanks for your feedback Aramis. Good to know so I can check if the same applies to me. I noticed that there are also changes to the Flickr widget as well. No longer showing up in the 3 x 3 block but rather as one image after the other in a long vertical line. I guess something is up. Greetings.

    Hi,
I have the same problem. For exemple, here : Regardeoutumarches

Anybody knows what to do ?
(sorry, I don’t speek english very well)
    Thanks

In my case, the problem occurs both on PC and mobile phone, but only when images has a caption.

I see that it is the same with me. Only the images with captions have this problem, and the Flickr widget. I wonder if the theme developer could take a look?

I face the same problem but only when I add caption text.

On my site, the new version 1.05 don’t resolve the problem. I reinstalled the 1.03. Does the new version works for you ?

Hi fredoclavier, thanks to your message, I updated the theme and for me the new version 1.05 has fixed my problem. Thanks very much to the developer. The only issue I have is with the Flickr widget, it lists the thumbnails as one vertical block, isntead of the 3 x 3. Well I am not sure that has anything to do with the theme. The main thing is that the image problem is fixed, for me at least.

Hi Australis41, thanks to your message.
This is what I see with 1.05 : screenshot
Does it can be caused by the child Theme ?
This is my fukasawa child : zip file
(sorry but I have to reinstall 1.03 for the moment)

I don’t think the child theme should be a problem. The problem with the images extending beyond the pages was something to do with the parent theme. I updated my parent theme to 1.05 and had the old child theme and the new version solved the problem. it could be that you need to refresh your browser, or try another browser that you haven’t used, to see if you still see the images outside the page?

    Thank you Australis41,
This is not just a problem of refresh page. On 1.03, it works, but as soon as I install 1.05, the images whith captions overflowing. It’s the same thing in Firefox, internet explorer and on my phone (android firefox and Chrome)

Ok, when you had the problem with the images before you updated to 1.05, what version of the theme were you using? Version 1.05 doesn’t work for you. 1.03 works for you. So was it version 1.04 that caused the original problem? Which is why you posted on this forum? just trying to understand. Have you changed your child theme since you first posted on this forum and then you installed version 1.05?
