Images in “Non optimized” are not being optimized

    Hello.

    Suddenly my new images added to the library are not being optimized. They stay in a “non optimized” menu. When I press “optimize” it doesn’t remove it from the list nor optimize. Please help

    Hmm, the debug info doesn’t necessarily shed any light on why images are not being optimized on upload, but it does show a lot of images with zero savings achieved.

    Couple things to check. First, it would be helpful if you could post the debug info from the settings page.

    Then, check the image queues to see if there is a backlog of images to optimize. When Debugging is turned on, you should have a Image Queue Debugging item under the Media menu. See what that shows. If there are more than a handful of images there, that could be the source of the problem. If there isn’t anything in there, you should be able to upload a few images, and then refresh that page to see the queue status.
