Images in new post notification email

    I am using Jetpack Subscriptions to notify subscribers of new posts. However, no matter how many photos I create in a post, they never show up in the notification email. Is there a way to get photos in to new post notification emails?

    My site: Growing-Faith.org

    I subscribe to Wheelingit.us

    They always have photos in their notification emails.

    People like seeing photos!

    Thank you for any help! I searched for this but it seems like all topics are closed and none of them are marked Resolved.

    Since you split the content of each one of your blog posts in 2 parts thanks to the More tag (<!--more-->), only the first pat of your posts is emailed to your subscribers. If you’d like your subscribers to see some pictures, you’d need to add images above the More tag.

    I have tried that previously, eliminating the featured image, and instead using a regular image.

    It did not work for me either.

    Could you try publishing a new post, with an image above the More Tag, and let me know how it goes, so I can take a closer look at our logs?

    Yeah, it worked! I think I know what made it work:

    Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed show: Full text

    Then, place an image above the More tag.

    It would be cool if future versions would also show the Featured Image as well.
