• In the previous version of the theme, the images on the homepage have a fixed, predefined size. The edges are cut to give a fixed standard predefinite size for all images in homepage. After the update, the images no longer have this fixed size. Each image replicates the original aspect ratio. I tryed to clear all caches, servers, browsers, cloudflare but it doesn’t work. If I only update the hardnews child theme, everything is fine, but if I update the covernews parent theme afterwards, the images lose their format. The problem seems to be in the parent theme. There is an additional CSS I can put in the child theme?

But how about injecting additional CSS into the child theme? With google inspector I saw that the parent theme “covernews” is different in the section that manages the images on the homepage. I’d rather not add any other plugins.
    Thank you

I tried to update with covernews version 2.5.1 again, but it doesn’t work. The images on the homepage always have an unsuitable format. The program does not automatically cut the images on the homepage to always the same format. I have tried to change the size of the images from the css file, but it still does not get a good result. Can’t you restore the image management on the homepage that was there before? At least send me the additional css to insert in the child theme to restore the previous version. I don’t understand why you changed this part of the theme. The management with child theme and parent theme requires that changes to the CSS are made only on the child theme. The parent theme is updated but must remain unchanged in its basic structure. Instead, you have changed the parent theme in such a way that the previous view cannot be restored from the child theme. The parent theme and child theme management in this way no longer works and becomes completely useless. I can’t waste all this time solving a problem that shouldn’t even exist.
    Thank you
