I love the plugin and tell anyone that asks for this kind of solution about it.

But I have run into a situation that I am hoping can be taken into consideration when/if a new version is released.

I use Cache Enabler on my WP site. It’s a chacing plugin. It has an option, in conjunction with, Optimus another plugin, to create WebP images and replace any JPG’s with the WebP versions. It, however, cannot do it’s thing if images are populated via Jquery or CSS scripts.

Is there a possibility that in a future version the images are populated on the page as normal images instead of the Jquery approach?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

Thanks for your kind words! ??

Caching should not really be needed for a picu collection, as it is intended to be viewed only by your (one?) client.

As for optimizing images: We encourage you to export an opimized version before uploading it into your picu collection.

However, I’d like to check out the plugin you mentioned and see if there is anything we can do: To look further into this, could you please copy the content of “picu > Settings > Debug Info” into an email and send it to support@picu.io.

    Cheers
    Florian
