Images in gallery do not have column numbers as specified

Dear support,
in the backend I have defined the column setting of my gallery to be 4 columns and it looks all fine in backend.

However, in front end, only 1 colum is shown with huge images.

I am using Elementor and Hello Theme.
Any advice much appreciated.

That gallery is not from our plugin. It’s a block from WordPress core. Our block should have a name ” – PublishPress” in behind it.
