I am having the same trouble with Related Posts…I have IMAGES on ALL of my posts but they do not show up in Related Posts. I thought maybe I had to set Featured Image on each one so I went and did that. No such luck. I am frustrated and ready to remove it. It says in the helps that it will pull the image if there is one. I don’t want an apple or a piece of wheat showing up and on some there is nothing but a black box! Please help!

But I’m afraid we are not able to take a closer look at it, since it seems that you have already deactivated your Related Posts plugin. Any chance you could activate it back on, so we could help you out on this?

Also — I’ve noticed that although all images in your blogposts load up normally, they seem to be broken on the main page of your blog. Not to forget — here’s a link to the previous, older version of our plugin, which should work normally and load all your thumbnails correctly

My apologies! I had no idea anyone would respond that quickly! I just decided to delete it until I saw someone post on it. My husband tells me I need to work on my patience. I apologize ??

As far as teh images loading I have no idea! I looked at the screeshot and there are no pictures there! I’ve never had that trouble before! No one has ever mentioned there being a problem.

I have reactivated the plugin so you can see it. I appreciate your help.

The images problem seems to be just on the home page…when I click on a particular post the image will show up but no images will show on the home page. This has just happened this morning. I have no idea if this is something with Bluehost or what has happened. Oh crud!

We are already investigating closely what could be going on on your blog, but we’d like to ask you for one more favor, if you would be so kind.

Could you go to this blogpost of yours, click on the ‘Edit’ button, check if the image already inserted in your post is set as featured — if not, set it as featured, if yes, leave it as featured — and click on the ‘Update’ button.

Sorry about the delay, I had company! I was doing that before I wrote you, setting the featured image on each post but I wasn’t making a difference, then after I reactivated it and made sure I had the right downloaded version I started doing that again and it seemed like that was working. I had redone about five of them before I was invaded with family ??

I am sorry I cannot do the one you are now asking as I am in the road. I thought I could do it on my iPhone as I do have the WordPress App installed but when you go to Set Featured Image and click it says choose photo and you click From Library you would assume it would take you to the media library where you had uploaded the pictures in the post!! And all other posts! Not the case.. It just takes you to your camera roll…or you can take a picture. How crazy is that? So the set featured image feature is worthless on the mobile app ??

But I do believe that may have solved the problem. I just won’t be able to work on it again until later this evening. I apologize.

hello Silvo, I just wondered if you had figured out what was wrong with my blog and the images not showing up on my homepage. It still is not working today. When a user logs in to https://www.hopeinthehealing.com no images appear at all. When they then click on a separate link or post the images will show up, even for the same post. I cannot figure it out! If the same post is on the home page and the images are not showing up when they first open it up but then they actually click on it the images will show up. But otherwise the entire homepage is blank! This is a whole new thing, I am totally baffled. Suggestions?

Please give it a try.

In some cases it might need time to generate thumbnails in the background, so please don’t uninstall it immediately.

my related posts isnt working either. i have tried everything i can think of to fix it but having no luck. it is showing up crappy generic images that arent mine. also seems that my option to select the featured image that was used for the related post image is no longer there. how do i get it back? its really frustrating me! ??

although most of the ones on there are working as i can only use OLD posts to ‘relate to’ which is really not good for my business. it needs to show links to other of my latest/best work not my old stuff.
please can someone help?
