    Hello!(Translate this message with Google)

I’m doing an online store and wondered what you usually do with images, to not take up much space, and if you have many products have many images, which is my case. I configured the plugin Google Drive Wp Media, which I solved this issue, but as many products and do not want to upload one by one I use all import Wp. By uploading csv files with URL to the Images of Google Drive me up to the library. I asked the plugin support if there was any way that this does not happen and I said no: “If you are using a plugin that modifies the performance then you’ll have to look like is that this plugin stores the relationship between images in the Drive and products. probably only use some “Custom Field”, then you have to import the information within this custom field. “
Can you think of anything? What is it that ye do?

  • I can’t imagine that product images could take up an enormous amount of space. Then again, make sure you are not uploading images that are over 1-2MB each. If you need to cut them down, I would suggest using an image editor. There are plenty online if you decide to go that route. I have never thought to host my WordPress media content anywhere else than the WordPress installation itself.

Thank you for your quick response. Is that it is many products, more than 1.000, and as you add more will have to be extending my hosting plan. Images do not weigh much, but I wondered what systems would use others. Thank You
