I have been running this plugin and I seem to be having a strange problem. Even though I have UNCHECKED “Store images locally”, the images from the campaigns are getting stored on my server and taking up disk space. How do I solve this?

    Hi @kevinmacy,
Surely you have activated the option to take the featured image of the content. According to WordPress standards that image must be stored on the same server.
If so and you don’t want it on your server, you can use the FIFU plugin and check the FIFU option in settings.

Take a look at the help inside the WordPress and WPeMatico screens to better understand this. You also have several FAQs answered on our site.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

I have downloaded the FIFU plugin as you suggested. Do you know which setting is responsible for the task you mentioned? I could not find it. Here is a screenshot.

    Hi @kevinmacy

Please, allow me to explain you.

After installing and activating FIFU plugin, you must be enable “Use Featured Image From URL” option inside campaign edit or from WPeMatico Settings.

Ok and the setting on FIFU? Do I leave the settings default on that plugin?

    Hi @kevinmacy

Correct, from the FIFU plugin you don’t need to make any modifications.

You just need to activate the option I mentioned before in the campaign edition or from WPeMatico > Settings.

After this, the next posts obtained by the campaign will use the featured image from the URL.

    Manuel
