Images don’t show in image select

  • My problem should be simple,
    In my media library, I have a bunch of images,
    But in my posts/pages image select, only a few images show up as available, and I already ended up uploading the same image several times.
    I already worked in several wordpress instalations, and this keeps happening.

    Please help!!! what am I doing wrong?

  • Hi @mateusvitor,
    this may be caused by a theme/plugin conflict.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
    Then start enabling plugins, one by one, from the “Health Check” menu at the top until the problem appears again. Then you will know which plugin causes the problem.

    I will give it a try, but since this happens in several installations, it seems to me it should be something else.
    But I guess there’s not much other possibilities.
    I’ll give it a try, thanks for the suggestion of the plugin!
    if you can briefly tell me the advantage of the plugin “Health Check” to a manual operation, besides confort, I’ll appreciate it.

    The plugin doesn’t only disable plugins in one go. It also does a few communication and server environment tests, all from the comfort of the Admin Panel.
    To quote the plugin’s page

    This plugin will perform a number of checks on your WordPress install to detect common configuration errors and known issues.

    It currently checks your PHP and MySQL versions, some extensions which are needed or may improve WordPress, and that the www.remarpro.com services are accessible to you.

    The debug section, which allows you to gather information about your WordPress and server configuration that you may easily share with support representatives for themes, plugins or on the official www.remarpro.com support forums.

    Troubleshooting allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user.
