Images don't move to new url

  • Hi,
    A few days ago I was putting up a new WP site on my go daddy account (I have two) and the tech support person erased the database for the wrong site. After charging me 150$ to restore the database, the everything but the images were restored. They moved the page to a new url – https://www.odysseusinamericafilm.com and have been unable to help me restore the site back to it’s original state. Needless to say, this is very frustrating. The problem I have is : none of the images are loading. The framework is there but no images. I tried velvet blues but to no avail :

    Results
    0 Content Items (Posts, Pages, Custom Post Types, Revisions)
    0 Excerpts
    0 Attachments
    0 Custom Fields
    Why do the results show 0 URLs updated?
    This happens if a URL is incorrect or if it is not found in the content.

    Can someone please help me figure this out?

  • Well some of them, mainly on the crew page, lacked the “https://” prefix and included a dot after .com, even though I fixed that within chromes editor, I still got no image. But if I put the URL to the image in the address bar I had no problem viewing it directly.

    This leads me to believe it’s a permissions issue? Maybe I’m wrong though, but it’s worth a shot. I think the permissions for the /uploads/ directory should be 777, or 666, can’t remember. As for the plugin you installed, velvet blues, thanks for the link lol I really need that ??
