Images do not regenerate to thumbnails

    Hi guys, I am running WP multisite.
    I have some images that do not re-size to thumbnails. They are very large images: 1700x 1200 and 4000×2800.
    The Media settings is set to thumbnails 600×400. Images do not re-size to 600×400 even with “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional” unchecked.

    I have ran Regenerate Thumbnails plugin but with no success. The plugin does not re-size the images at all…
    The plugin seems to work as no errors appear after regenerating images.

    I have used the following code in the post but with no success.
    [gallery ids="1,2,3,4" size="gallery-thumb"]

    Hello guys, could you please assist me with my query? Is it possible that the folder where thd pics are need write permission?
    Thumbnails do not generate at all despite plugin says thumbs regenerate after running it

    Hello, apologies for my ignorance: am I expected to see new thumbnails in the upload folder following the regeneration??
    I am a little puzzled on how this plugin works: after regeneration I would expect to see new images in the /upload folder; is this the case??

    Thank yo for your support.
    For those who stumble on this lonely thread, it was Graphics Draw that was not installed in the server, hence images where not regenerated.

    Thank you for posting your solution! It helped fix my problem as well.
