Images do not appear

Hi,

What is the error?

Add new images, no view images.

I am having a similar issue. When I add the slideshow as the first thing on a new page the slideshow will not appear, but if I put even a letter “a” or what-have-you before it, it will work. Problem for me, is I am trying to put the slide show first thing under the menu and the letter creates its own line and is throwing off my spacing, not to mention I have an “invisible” letter now on my page. Any way around this? I am using the “happenstance” theme if that helps.
