Images Displaying Only In Editor

  • Hi..
    I have a issue that’s bugging the stew out of me.
    I have a few (3) images in .jpg form that for some reason refuse to display in my media library.
    All other images I’ve uploaded in either .jpg or .png are there…just these 3.
    One I use as a header banner in my SuperMag theme site. I can see it displayed ,s o I know it’s there.
    I’ve cleared the cache, un-plugged and re-plugged plugins, to no avail.
    Any ideas?

  • It’s entirely possible that there’s an issue with these images – given that all other images work just fine.

    Esmi, the images appear when I open them up to edit them, it’s only after I save them that they go poof and all I see are blank thunbnails.

    Since it is specific to these 3 images, it must be something inherent in those images rather than anything to do with WordPress. Where are you editing them?

    In the media library. Going to call my hosting company to see if they can help as I get no reply from the theme creator other than I have a lot of stuff cached. I have cleared that, installed a cache plugin, unistalled..etc…
    Ugh

    It might be worth giving them the filenames of these images in case they are being blocked at the hosts end by a mod_security rule.
