• Hello! I love the plugin — it’s exactly what I need. But when I created a slideshow using 600×450 images and set the dimensions to 600×450, the images are still displaying at 450 wide.

Then I tried to set up a slideshow with mixed landscape and portrait images (600×450 and 450×600) and so I set the dimensions in settings to 600×600.

The portrait images came out the right size, but all of the landscape images were reduced to 450 wide.

    What am I doing wrong?

I can’t share the link publicly but I can message it to you.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Feel free to send me a link if you’d like to.

Did you upload the slide images after setting the current slideshow dimensions? The slide images are cropped to match the slideshow dimensions, so if you change the slideshow dimensions, you have to re-upload the slide images.

The slideshows work best with slides that are all uniformly sized. IF you want to use portrait and landscape slides, make sure the portrait slide images are scaled to be the same height as the landscape images, and the Meteor Slides will center the narrower slides in the slideshow. The slideshow does scale to fit the first image in the slideshow, so if you use different sized images, make sure the first one is the largest.
