Images disappeared since upgrade

    Hi

    We are using Version 1.7.9 with 2 languages.
    Default language s English
    We updated WP from 4.2 to 4.3 and noticed that images do not show up in the second language. Also when we click to “Add Media” for pages in second language, we do not see all the media files! However, if we go to any of the pages in default language (english) all media files are available to us!!
    We upgraded to 4.3.1 in case there was a bug but no change.

    All images are available in the default language media file but not in secondary language.

    Please can you suggest a fix for this?

    In Languages > Settings > Media: uncheck this option and you will access to your entire library.

    Thanks for the tip. This option must have been reinstated during the upgrade. Done as you suggested and we now have both languages accessing the same media files.

    Looks like we have to re-insert the images from the newly shared media library as all the links were changes to a secondary media folder during the upgrade.

    How do we avoid this in future upgrades?

    I never saw such issue. The upgrade should not change the media links.

    We had not seen it either. I think it was reset when we upgraded Polylang to the latest version and the WP upgrade might just be a coincedence.
