I’ve noticed on multiple place listings that as I’m working on improving their SEO ranking in the backend, and subsequently clicking the “Update” button to save the post edits, I’m randomly left with all images removed from the listing – even though I never touched that area.

I have not tried this through front-end editing because I cannot work with SEO there. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, I’m not sure why I need to re-upload all images each time this happens – shouldn’t they be available via the media panel after the first time they’re uploaded?

I’m using WP 4.5.3, KLEO theme, Yoast SEO, PHP7, Nginx, Redis

    Thanks!

    HI,

make sure you have “Organise my uploads into month- and year-based folders” enable in wordpress media settings.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#media

GeoDirectory bypasses the media library, because it creates 1 post (type attachment) in the database for each picture size set in your media settings.

That would be equal to 5 extra post per image per listing in your database that would be useless and would take up space in your db for nothing.

Let us know if that helped.

    Thanks

    Hello,

@mattylb How did you fix that issue?

@paoltaia I have similar issue but settings are same as you provided, do you have any other ideas how to resolve it?

@stiofansisland I’ve redacted your offer to obtain login credentials to your users site. Never make that offer in these forums again. That’s something that is not permitted here.

It does not matter that you sent your user to your own site. No one should permit you to log into their site and you can’t make that offer in these forums. Please be aware that your asking many times will result in the moderators asking you to stop before escalating to the plugins team.
