    Hi,
I was very impressed with the backup and restore process. After trying different alternatives your plug-in worked flawlessly until…it appeared the background images on my site did not appear anymore. I am using Divi theme. Had to reallocate the background images one by one per per section. Not a complex site but strange behaviour. If you can provide me feedback I would be very great full before doing a more complex backup and restore of other sites (in order to do a PHP upgrade).
    Thank you,
    John

    Hi @belviking

There is a chance, when other plugin has broken data in the database that we can’t replace paths sometimes. We’re trying to detect such cases and force to fix that but it may be too complex to fix by our script.

In such cases, we’re happy if you send such backup with reference site to us via e-mail [ support (at) backupbliss dot com ] then we can test it, and hopefully fix it in the future release ??

As far as I remember Divi theme allows you to import their settings right in their options, have you tried that?

For the PHP upgrade, our plugin was tested on all version since 5.6 up to PHP 8.
Before the migration you should make sure that all other plugins supports desired PHP version, otherwise you may need to disable them manually after migration in order to get working site, but from my experience the only plugin that causes any issues with PHP upgrade is Revolution Slider (if you’re using it, please disable it during the backup).

    Hope it helps ??

Let me know if you would like to share your backup for testing.
    Thank you!
